Lion Golf Academy offer our development academy programming to both adults and juniors of all ages and abilities at the Woodhaven Country Club. With 3 practice greens, practice bunkers, grass range, and golf course access, we offer the best growth of game curriculum in the Coachella Valley. The company founder, Tony Brooks who is a top 50 GRAA Growth of the game recipient, and a PGA Master Professional heads up this location. This is truly a gem of a facility, and has a supportive membership that can see the value the academy brings to our youth programming, and assisting the adults who wish to take up the game. Our academy is open November 1st – May 31st. However we continue to do programming and private instruction throughout the Summer except for overseeding when the facility closes.
Class Schedule
Choose from over 40 classes a week for adults, juniors, and families. We are open year round, and offer our calendar access to members to sign up through our phone application, which you will get access to.
There is plenty of parking at the golf course and the parking lot is right next to the academy making an easy drop-off / pick up location. We have partnered with Callaway golf and they provide us with golf equipment (clubs) to help our students. We provide the golf equipment free of charge if they need it, and we will guide them to purchase the correct equipment when the time comes.
