Junior/Adult On Course Classes
TAKE THE TRAINING TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
On Course Development Class:
Our on course classes (junior or adults) are included in your membership, and they are open to any active membership. This class lasts 90 minutes per session. We take the students on the golf course to go over the curriculum they learn in their development classes. Each session the professional staff will choose a topic based on the students that attend. Topics range from the following:
- Course rules and etiquette
- Players Skills Phone Application – on course challenges
- On course instruction
- Team play using different formats of play
- Skills assessment and specialty shots
- Golf course management
- Bunker play
- Scorekeeping
- Developing shot selection
- 50 yards and in play focusing on the importance of short game
- Occasional 3 hole tournament play to teach our students the art of scoring
- and more…
We encourage family and friends to watch and support their students while they are in these development classes, and it is a great way for the family to get out in nature and spend some quality time together while making new friends.
Tournaments:
Within our players skills phone application we have our internal leaderboards based on the students practice regimen using the skills to accomplish their belt levels. We invite the top performing students who are on this leaderboard to play against other top performing students at other Lion Golf Academy locations. Once a year we will invite the top (4) performers to our season ending golf tournament to represent their location in our LGA Junior Cup. Keep in mind, to be a top performer doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be the best player, our system rewards the students that practices the most.

It is open to any student with a belt level higher than orange 1 in the players skills phone application. This class lasts 90 minutes per session.
